Academic Team

The Bowdon Middle School Academic Bowl Team is a competitive academic program designed for motivated students in grades 6–8 who enjoy a fast-paced, buzzer-style challenge. Our team represents the school in regional tournaments, showcasing their expertise across a diverse range of subjects including science, literature, history, and mathematics. Through rigorous practice and collaborative play, students develop critical thinking skills, quick-recall abilities, and a strong sense of sportsmanship. We are proud to provide a platform where academic achievement is celebrated with the same enthusiasm as athletics, fostering a community of young scholars who are passionate about learning. We invite parents and visitors to follow our season as these bright minds represent the Red Devils with pride and intellectual curiosity!

Tryouts for the Academic Bowl Team are held every year in the beginning of the school year. Contact Mrs. Adamson for specific dates or look for announcements throughout the school.
