Bio

Mr. Estes graduated from Cleburne County High School in 1986. Played college baseball at Auburn University at Montgomery and Southern Union Jr. College. Moved on to Auburn University where he married his high school sweet heart, Kathy Estes. Mrs. Estes teaches at Bowdon Elementary School. 

Mr. Estes began by student teaching at Bowdon Elementary and Bowdon High School in 1995 and now gets to "Live The Dream" at Bowdon Middle School. Mr. and Mrs. Estes' oldest daughter, Anna Buttrill, is teaching 1st Grade at BES. Their second daughter, Atalie Estes, is student teaching at CES and will graduate in Elementary Education in May. The baby of the family, Trent Estes, is a 2019 BHS graduate and attending the University of West Georgia where he is currently majoring in Industrial Engineering. 

Mr. Estes also has two precious granddaughters that love their Pawpaw!
